SPICED OLD FASHIONED
45ml Helmsman Spiced Rum
1x Sugar cube
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Few dashes of water
Instructions Place sugar cube in an old fashioned glass & saturate with bitters, add a dash of water. Muddle until dissolved. Fill the glass with ice cubes & add Helmsman Spiced Rum. Garnish with an orange slice.
Served: On the rocks; poured over ice
MOJITO DE PINA
45ml Helmsman Spiced Rum
30ml DeKuyper Pineapple
15ml Lime Juice
Mint leaves
Soda
Garnish with mint sprig
Instructions Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker, Shake and add the ingredients into a glass top with soda.
SPICED RUM SOUR
45ml Helmsman Spiced Rum
30ml Lemon Juice
15ml Sugar Syrup
1 Egg White
Instructions Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker, Shake and strain the ingredients into a glass.
GINGER HIGHBALL
45ml Helmsman Spiced Rum
30ml Lime Juice
15ml Orgeat
2 Dashes Whisky Aged Bitters
East Imperial Ginger Beer
Instructions Fill a highball glass with ice pour Helmsman rum, lime, orgeat & bitters in to the glass. Add top with ginger beer then stir and garnish with lime wedge.
SIREN
30ml. Helmsman Spiced Rum
30ml. Tequila
15ml. Campari
10ml. Cherry Brandy
10ml. Benedictine
10ml. Demerara Sugar syrup
10ml. Fresh lime juice
1 Sprig mint, for garnish
Instructions In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine with the Tequila, Spiced Rum, lime juice, sugar syrup, Campari, Cherry Brandy, and Benedictine. Shake vigorously, and then strain into a wine goblet filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a mint sprig
PINEAPPLE MOJO
60ml. Helmsman Spiced Rum
15ml. Grand Marnier
15ml. Fresh lime juice
30ml. Demerara Sugar syrup
Fresh pineapple chunks
Ginger ale
Mint leaves
Instructions In a Collins glass, muddle the pineapple and mint. Fill with ice. In an ice-filled cocktail shaker, shake together rum, lime juice, sugar syrup, and Grand Marnier. Strain into glass and top with ginger ale.
SPICE KOLA
35ml. Helmsman Spiced Rum
35ml. 151-proof rum
6 Dashes Pernod
15ml. Honey mixed with 15ml. hot water
35ml. Orange juice
1 Dash Angostura bitters
10ml. Fresh lime juice
Pineapple wedge and maraschino cherry, for garnish
Instructions Put 2 cups of ice and the first 7 ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Shake well and pour into a short glass. Garnish with pineapple and a cherry.
DARK AND STORMY
60ml. Helmsman Spiced Rum
15ml. Freshly squeezed lime juice
10ml. Demerara Sugar syrup
Dark ginger beer
Slice of fresh ginger
Instructions Combine rum, lime juice, sugar syrup and ginger juice in a mixing glass; set aside. Fill a highball glass with ice and add rum and syrup mixture. Top off with ginger beer and stir before serving.
SPICED SIDECAR
30 ml Brandy
30 ml Helmsman Spiced Rum
25 ml Lemon Juice
30 ml Triple Sec
1 Spiral Lemon
Instructions Fill a shaker with ice cubes. Add all ingredients. Shake and strain into a chilled rocks glass filled with ice cubes. Garnish with lemon
